Certification

The ACHS International Certification Program is designed for healthcare organisations focusing on the implementation of processes and procedures to international standards but are still unsure about their ability to meet the requirements of accreditation against all the EQuIP criteria.

Unlike the Recognition Program, Certification requires a healthcare organisation to focus on all standards and criteria included in the relevant EQuIP edition. The Certification Program is a smart choice for organisations wishing to transition to our Accreditation Program in the future.

Please find more information about the Certification Program below:

Validity

1 year per cycle with a maximum of 2 cycles possible

Membership

Required and Membership benefits accessible

Requirements

Some Achievement (SA) rating for all mandatory criteria in the selected EQuIP edition

Assessment

One (1) onsite assessment per cycle

Notes

  • Certification is not required to progress to Accreditation
  • Certification is valid for a one (1) year cycle and cannot be achieved for more than two (2) cycles or a total of two (2) years of Certification for an organisation

The continuous open communication to support and provide assistance, even after the achievement of accreditation, has been a key feature of the ACHS International service that adds great value
