The ACHS International Quality Improvement (QI) Awards provide an opportunity to share the quality improvement achievements of our health service Members with the healthcare industry.
The winners of the ACHSI Quality Improvement (QI) Awards in 2023 have been announced during the ACHSI Member Forum. Each submission demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting and developing innovation in different areas of healthcare that impacts on patient safety.
Ms Louise Cuskelly, Executive Director - ACHS International and Consulting, presented the awards across three categories: Clinical Excellence and Patient Safety, Non-Clinical Service Delivery, and Healthcare Measurement.
The Clinical Excellence and Patient Safety Award was presented to Hoan My Sai Gon Hospital, Vietnam who won with their submission titled 'Optimising Operational Efficiencies Through Implementation of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Automation System Solution'. View their winning submission here:
Hong Kong Baptist Hospital was awarded Highly Commended for this category for their submission titled 'Notification of Chemo Drug pick up from C7 IVAS unit to Chemo Center'.
The Healthcare Measurement Award was won by Saudi German Health, Saudi Arabia with their project, 'Measuring Up: How to Implement a Data-Driven Value Based Care Program'. View their winning submission here:
The Non-Clinical Service Delivery Award was presented to Hoan My Thu Duc International Hospital, Vietnam who won with their submission titled, ' Effective Change Management Program on Infectious Waste and Segregation in Hoan My Thu Duc Hospital in Year 2022 – 23'. EMC Alam Sutera Hospital, Indonesia was awarded Highly Commended for this category for their submission titled, 'YourVOICE: because your voice is meaningful for us A program to assess patient experience while patient get treatment in hospital'.
