Welcoming our New ACHS International Board Directors
Mr George Jepson and Mr George Kazzi have been appointed ACHSI Board Directors.
ACHSI welcomes the appointment of Mr George Jepson and Mr George Kazzi as ACHS International Board Directors in October 2024. Their experience and commitment to healthcare excellence make them valuable additions to our governance team.
Mr George Jepson has over 30 years of national and international experience in senior executive healthcare leadership roles. He led major organisational change in St Vincent’s, Royal North Shore and Prince of Wales hospitals and developed general practice networks in New Zealand. In the Middle East, Mr Jepson worked across government hospitals and private sector, leading a major rebuild of Al Ain Hospital in Abu Dhabi as CEO.
Mr Jepson is an Associate Fellow of ACHSM and Graduate Member of AICD and has set up the Tristan Jepson Memorial Foundation with his wife in memory of their son to address the impact of mental health in the legal profession. The foundation was responsible for the development of the world first phycological health and safety guidelines for the profession.
Mr Jepson has also been appointed as a director to the ACHSI Middle East Board commencing 1 November 2024.
Mr George Kazzi has extensive experience in the South-East Asia and Australian market, and specialises in market and business development. Mr Kazzi is passionate about working alongside healthcare professionals and governments to assist in building sustainable models of care that improve cost effectiveness without compromising quality of care. Mr Kazzi strongly believes that every patient, no matter where they are, has the right to access high standard and quality care. After 11 years working overseas, managing the business for Baxter Healthcare in Vietnam, Malaysia and the Philippines, Mr Kazzi returned to Australia to rejoin his family. He is passionate about supporting others and uses his high energy and positive outlook to achieve the desired outcomes.
We are confident that both Mr George Jepson and Mr George Kazzi will be valued Members to the ACHSI Board, propelling our commitment to shaping excellence in healthcare across the globe.
These new appointments signal change for our Board, and we would like to acknowledge our ACHSI Board Members who are stepping down, Mr Stephen Walker and Ms Anne Trimmer AO for their extensive contributions to ACHS International.
