Patient Safety Culture Survey

Complimentary and Exclusive to ACHS International Members

Collect, Analyse and Benchmark your Patient Safety Culture Survey data through Metrik.

The Patient Safety Culture Survey (PSCS) is a powerful tool designed to assess and improve the safety values within healthcare organisations. Originating from the globally recognised Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture (HSOPS 2.0) developed by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), the survey has been adapted by the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC).

ACHS is offering its Members complimentary and exclusive access to the PSCS. We guide you through the planning, data collection and analysis of the survey with resources and tools to support a smooth execution.

The Survey Process

The Survey Process
  • ✔ ACHS has created the model to collect the survey data via an online and mobile friendly webform.
  • ✔ Once you confirm an ideal start date for the survey, the Performance and Outcomes Service (POS) Team will ask you to complete a short form to collection information on your organisation so we can generate the links for the survey.
  • ✔ Once the organisational information is collected and the links generated, the team will provide you with a survey link, QR code for distribution purposes and show you where the data will be summarised in Metrik.
  • ✔ The results are fed to Metrik in real-time, so you can keep on top of survey respondents and view the responses as they come in. The ACHS team will also support you with data clean-up and standardisation, throughout the process.
