ICHOМ and ACHSI Unite to Drive Global Value-Based Healthcare Accreditation

The International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) today announced a strategic partnership with the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards International (ACHSI)

The International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) today announced a strategic partnership with the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards International (ACHSI) to promote the ICHOM Accreditation program to hospitals and healthcare providers across designated international regions.
This partnership marks an important milestone in ICHOM’s global mission to advance value-based healthcare (VBHC) by focusing on outcomes that matter most to patients. Through this collaboration, ACHSI will serve as an international partner to introduce and support the adoption of ICHOM Accreditation Program within its extensive network of healthcare organisations.

“We are delighted to partner with ACHSI as we expand the reach of ICHOM Accreditation program across the ACHSI network,” said Jennifer Bright, President and CEO of ICHOM. “ACHSI’s expertise in healthcare quality and accreditation, and its trusted international relationships, make it an ideal partner to help providers embrace outcome measurement and value-based care.”

“At ACHSI, we are proud to collaborate with ICHOM to help healthcare organisations embed outcomes-driven improvement in their operations,” said Dr Karen Luxford, Group CEO, ACHS and ACHS International. “Together, we can accelerate the shift toward value-based care by ensuring patient outcomes are central to how healthcare quality is measured and improved.”

The ICHOM Accreditation model provides a globally recognised framework that enables healthcare providers to systematically measure, compare, and improve patient outcomes. By integrating ICHOM’s standardised outcome sets and methodologies, organisations can drive clinical excellence, transparency, and continuous learning—all essential components of sustainable healthcare improvement.

Through this partnership, ICHOM and ACHSI will jointly support hospitals and health systems in aligning with international best practices, developing data-driven insights, and advancing the quality and value of care delivered to patients.

Healthcare organisations interested in learning more about the ICHOM Accreditation Program or how to participate are encouraged to visit www.ichom.org or contact info@ichom.org for further information.
