Do you have a quality improvement project that has made a meaningful difference in your organisation? Now is your chance to gain recognition on an international stage.
The ACHS International Quality Improvement (QI) Awards 2025 are now open for submissions. These annual awards celebrate excellence, innovation and impact in quality improvement initiatives across healthcare settings worldwide.
Supporting Sustainable Healthcare
This year, we are expanding our non-clinical category to become the ‘Sustainable Healthcare and Service Delivery Award’.
This updated category recognises innovative projects in non-clinical settings that demonstrate sustainable care strategies, benefiting both our communities and the planet.
If your organisation has implemented a project that improved patient care, sustainability, service delivery, or performance measurement, we invite you to share your success by submitting an entry.
Award Categories
Clinical Excellence and Patient Safety
This category celebrates innovation and excellence in delivering safe, effective, and person-centred care. Entries should highlight demonstrated improvements in clinical practice that have led to safer, higher quality outcomes for patients.
Sustainable Healthcare and Service Delivery
Formerly the ‘Non-Clinical Service Delivery’ category, this award recognises impactful projects that enhance environmental sustainability, consumer services, or organisation-wide practices. This includes initiatives in community care, allied health, and non-clinical departments making a difference.
Healthcare Measurement
This category shines a spotlight on data-driven improvement. We’re looking for entries that show how performance measurement was used to guide action, leading to measurable improvements in patient care and organisational performance.
Who Can Apply?
Entry is open to all current Members of the ACHS International.
The ACHSI QI Awards are open to private and public organisations, large and small healthcare facilities internationally.
Projects that have been entered in other awards are eligible to be entered in the ACHSI QI Awards 2025.
Your application MUST relate to a quality improvement activity that has been implemented within the last two (2) years, at your organisation.
All entrants agree to the publication and distribution of their submission(s) by ACHSI.
