Calling for Volunteers to Participate in the Review of EQuIP7

- The current EQuIP review process requires participation by working groups to review drafts of the Standards and provide expert advice on the content. Staff of Member Organisations that work with EQuIP, EQuIP Assessors, as well as Consumers who use accredited services, are well placed to provide this expert advice.
- Participation in the Working Groups is voluntary and will involve; pre-reading appropriate background material and the existing EQuIP7 Standards, attendance at Zoom meetings, as well as reviewing and providing feedback on drafts of the Standards via email.
- It is anticipated that Working Group members’ workload will be around five (5) hours per Working Group, noting there are multiple Working Groups covering Core, Hospital, and Ambulatory Care Standards development which will be conducted at different times. There will be further work following the completion of these Standards to review the other EQuIP programs and specialty guides, including Residential and Home Care and Primary and Community Care.
- Participating in these Working Groups will be academically challenging and rewarding, as participants have the opportunity to influence the direction of healthcare standards globally. All members of the Working Groups, and their Organisation are acknowledged in the EQuIP Publications.
