The ACHS is seeking passionate volunteers to contribute to the development of the latest Evaluation and Quality Improvement Program (EQuIP8).
Calling for Volunteers: Join the Review of EQuIP7 Standards
The ACHS Evaluation and Quality Improvement Program (EQuIP) is the cornerstone of ACHS’s quality framework and the foundation for all EQuIP programs offered internationally.
To ensure the standards remain current, evidence-based, and reflective of best practice, ACHS undertakes a comprehensive EQuIP standards review and consultation process every four years. We are calling for Volunteers to Participate in the Review of EQuIP7!
Why Join the Review?
The current EQuIP review process relies on input from a diverse range of perspectives, including:
Staff from Member Organisations who work with EQuIP
EQuIP Assessors
Consumers who use accredited services
Participants in the Working Groups will play a crucial role in shaping the standards, ensuring they remain relevant, achievable, and globally impactful.
What’s Involved?
As a Working Group member, your voluntary participation will included:
Pre-reading relevant background material and the current EQuIP7 Standards
Attending Zoom meetings to discuss the draft Standards
Reviewing and providing feedback on drafts of the Standards via email.
The time commitment is approximately five (5) hours per Working Group, with multiple Working Groups covering Core, Hospital, and Ambulatory Care Standards development occurring at different times.
Beyond the EQuIP7 Standards, additional opportunities will follow to review the specialty guides, including those for Residential and Home Care and Primary and Community Care.
Why Participate?
By joining a Working Group, you will:
Contribute to the global advancement of healthcare standards
Influence best practices in quality improvement
Gain recognition for yourself and your organisation in EQuIP Publications
